The Beauty of "As Is"
News & Thoughts
So excited to announce my new home for my Sunday afternoon Restorative
will be Limber Yoga starting this week, Sunday, January 7, 430-545!
"I’ve been bad.”
So I said, “there isn’t a judgement value, it’s only a question about information.”
“Oh I know, I’m just trying to motivate myself that way.”
I laughed and said, “ok, is shame an effective motivator for you?”

We will shift our focus to grounding and hormonal balance (which is all-gendered and all aged). Seasonally, we are drawn inward at this time of year, as there is less daylight and more movement in the air, but our lives do not always hold space for this shift. We can give ourselves this opportunity in practice. The hormonal messengers in our bodies are not just about reproduction; they are about cycles on all levels: sleep cycles, digestion, connection, and solitude, breath, circulation and our nervous systems. Some who menstruate, or have, have practiced around this cycle, our bodies having waxing and wanings. But this is ongoing in all of us, and when we don’t have external markers, we still need to honor the cycles of letting go, releasing, and moving inward as much as we do “productive” ones.
